What are the benefits of having a degree?
Today, I will be continuing with my next question. Which is what are the benefits of having a degree. As I said before, getting a degree can help you a lot in the future. One example is that you will have a job that you imagined of, when you were working very hard in college to get that degree. Most people who have a degree have a higher income than those who have a high school diploma.
In today’s society, most parents are trying their best to send their kids to college. So they can gain knowledge and find a good job and earn more money.
Here below, I have put a bar graph of median weekly earnings in 2013. I think this bar graph definitely shows how much a person can make based on their levels of education. The higher your level of education the more money you will be earning.
I asked one of my friends this question, whose name is Ali Alizadeh. He thinks that having a college degree is beneficial because you will be earning more money. At the same time, you are working toward your dream job. I agree with him, it is true that you will have a higher income, but the part of his response that I liked most is the part, where he said; you will be working toward your dream job. The only reason; why I am going to college right now is to learn more about my major and move toward my goals with the things that I am learning in college.
