Why Is Seeking a Higher Education Important?

Today, everyone knows how important it is for them to go to a university and get their degree. I believe the reason for that is that in today’s society, you can not get a good job unless you have a degree in the position that you are applying for. I personally think that if you have a degree in something. Then you will definitely live a happier life, without being burned and worried all time about your income and every time that you are applying for a job, stress about whether they will hire or not.

Having a degree is a good thing because it will give you many opportunities in the future. However, there are some problems that people are facing, and because of that, they can not get to where they want in their life. Two examples of that would be financial problems and family issues. Not everyone has the money to pursue higher education. Some people, after graduating high school. Have to work and support their family and so they cannot go to a university.

I am from Afghanistan, but I was born in Iran, we came here to the United States of America in 2016, and the only reason for that was to get a better education. My parents work very hard to bring us here, they went through a hard time but made it here, and my only job here is to; just study as hard as possible, educate myself, and work hard towards my goals, which one of them is to become a good doctor.

I wanted to talk about this topic because I feel like everyone should definitely educate themselves, and the reason for that is I believe if you have a degree, then you have the power to choose where you want to start working. However, if you do not have a degree, then you do not have the power or the option to choose; where you want to work. Having a degree is not just going to make your life better, but also your family and your children in the future.

Throughout this blog, I will talk deeply about, why should people educate themselves, what are the benefits of having a degree, does it worth it to go to college and spend lots of money, and lastly, I will talk about why some people can not continue their education to the next level.
